Rooted in Ghana
Shifting Point Club is a Ghanaian institution, founded, governed, and operating within Ghana. Its vision, in the words of Article 6 of its Constitution, is “to secure a brighter future for Ghana and its citizens including posterity”.
The facts that follow are drawn from the same document, so that anyone writing to SPC knows where the Club is, where it works, and what it can and cannot take on.
SPC is a structured private organisation. Press enquiries and partnership proposals are handled through the form above rather than through individual members.
- Headquarters
- The Club's headquarters are located in the Western Region of Ghana (Article 2).
- Where SPC works
- Article 3 names three domains of operation: senior high schools in Ghana, universities in Ghana, and the public domain. Work in schools and universities is established by seeking permission from the governing authorities.
- Partnerships
- Under Article 97, every partnership or collaboration must serve the Club's objectives, and SPC does not accept partnerships or collaborations from political parties, organisations, associations or groups.
